An educational ladder for children from the ages 3-13 through Nursery, Pre-preparatory and Preparatory classes.
The Nursery and Pre-prep. caters for boys and girls in the age range 3-6 years. Educationally, the early years are so vital to a childıs development and at Lancing Prep we believe we are able to provide an academically successful and enjoyable beginning to their School career, with the added obvious advantage of the continuity offered by moving up though the Prep School.
The Pre-prep. children are taught by fully qualified and experienced teachers, supported by an excellent team of classroom assistants. While the children have their own dedicated area and facilities, they are also able to share those enjoyed by the Prep. School.
The children arrive at school by 8.25am in time for their own Pre-prep. Assembly at 8.30am. The Nursery children may do half a day finishing at 11.45am or 1.00pm, or leave at 3.30pm along with the Reception Class. Children in Year 1 finish at 3.40pm and in Year 2 at 4.00pm.
After-school clubs are available until 5.15pm, ranging from art to football.
